UT2014: Bug in D3D11state.cpp, Fatal Error

Branch: This bug occurs in both 4.4.0 obtained from the Unreal Launcher, and 4.4.1 that I compiled from Git.

Build version: 4.4.0-2237849+++depot+UE4-Releases+4.4

Whenever a gun is fired, the game crashes. This happens in packaged builds as well. It only started recently, I might even be able to trace it back to a specific commit if needed.

Repro Steps:
Fire any weapon. The bug has occurred 100% of the time I have fired a weapon. Works with enforcer, sniper, shock, and rocket explosions.

System Specs: Report.zip

.LOG & .DMP files: Logs.zip

If showflag.decals 0 is used the game doesn’t crash. If the decal/scorch marks are disabled for weapons the crash also does not happen.

Hey, cafe. I can’t seem to reproduce this crash. I’ve tried running Unreal Tournament in 4.4.0 and 4.4.1 with no luck. I can report it internally, but before I do that, have you tried pulling the game from Git again to make sure the issue isn’t stemming from there?

Sorry for taking awhile to reply, but I wanted to let you know that you are correct. On the day you posted, the bug was fixed in the repo. Here was the commit: https://github.com/EpicGames/UnrealTournament/commit/4767b9e7d778fa6ba6a0c33cabbdff4c01c6ac93
