Shading issues with landscape material when blending more than 2 materials

Hi everyone,
I’m having very weird shading when I’m trying to bend 3 materials on my landscape. There were no issues when I used only 2, so I wanted to try a 3rd one. I used the very same workflow, as you can see on the screencaps. The problem began to appear when I tried to paint the 3 materials over each other. Even if I had all 3 layers, when I was painting only one of the materials on top of the main layer, it was still functioning properly. When I selected the third one, it was still okay when I was painting that on top of the main material. However, when I tried to paint the 3rd material on spots where I had painted the second material over the main one, the shading has become really odd, just as you can see on the screenshot.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I’ve already tried all the 3 blending modes (weight, alpha, and height), tried to switch the height layers, and I’ve also tried to use default lit instead of subsurface. None of those have solved the issue.

God bless the responses in advance!

I’ve figured it out, I hope that I’m not mistaken: I can only two materials within one section, so I should have been a bit more attentive when creating the landscape itself. I’ve not known about this then, but I do know. If that’s really the case, then issue solved. Sorry for the irrelevant post!
