Mesh has transparent faces

I am creating a 3D model of an Apple in Blender:

However, when I go to import it into UE4 the mesh becomes see-through/transparent on the side the player is looking at:

I saw a solution where I could go into edit mode, select all of the faces and choose flip normals in the specials menu. However, this turns the mesh dark:

Any suggestions how to fix this?

Can you show a screenshot of your material in UE4?
