Windows Mixed Reality (WMR) Plugin help
I finally discovered how to turn on Windows Mixed reality support but have encountered a few issues that are very frustrating
First, when using the motion controller component with SteamVR, the Mixed Reality controllers show. With WMR, they no longer show. I understand this is a beta plug-in but am I missing something obvious here - is it a different controller component that you use?
The second issue I have is that I had my character wired up and was using the Motion Controller axes to move. When I started with the mixed reality plug-in, the character starts moving on its own. If I remove the axes from input and add the Mixed reality ones, everything starts to behave. So, how would I be able to support Occulus, Vive and WMR without separate builds? Perhaps a bug?
Finally, will there ever be thumb-stick support in addition to the track pads. To me this seems a glaring omission. Also, would be great if you could just use the motion axes for trackpad and add the extra controls for the WMR controller as extras, like Oculus does.
I'd appreciate feedback/help on this or a way to pass this on to developers. Overall I find the experience of the plug-in quite positive and definitely more stable than SteamVR which tends to crash all the time on my PC requiring a restart of UE.
