Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Leap Motion tracking problem - Camera distance

Hey Guys,

I'm using the Leap Motion Controller with VR (HTC Vive Pro). Setup was easy, and checking out the Leap Visualizer (Statusbar rightklick on the LeapMotion Icon > Visualizer) the tracking is working perfectly. I am using Unreal for developing an car interior with a seatingbuck. I have the seatingbuck out of metal and I have the cad data inside Unreal. CAD data and metal frame are in the exact same position and aligned perfect.

If I use the Vive Motion Controllers to check the alignment its working perfect. If I check the LeapMotion Visualizer the tracking is matching with my hands. When I touch the metal frame the tracked hands are tracking right and are in the right position.

If I use the Leap Motion Pawn inside UE4 the tracking is inaccurate. When my hands are really close to the HMD the tracking is "good" but the bigger the distance gets, the tracking moves away from my real hands.

In the video you can see what I mean. Its working with the Motion Controller, but not with Leap Motion. https://youtu.be/HEeCQm6bC_c

Hope somone can help me....
