Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hey MikeHazeJr -

I have a few questions to help me track down this issue for you:

Are you using a Mac or a PC?

Also could you include the following as attachments:

If you received an Alphanumeric string from the crash reporter it would have begun as ID.....

Your DXDIAG, if on a PC or system Specifications if on a Mac.

Tthe .LOG and .DMP files from your [project]SavedLogs folder. Additionally, you can please send us the CrashReportClient.log file located in C:Program FilesUnreal Engine4.0EngineProgramsCrashReportClientSavedLogs.

On a Mac, the logs are located in: /Users/UserName/Library/Logs/Unreal Engine/(project name)Editor/ The Library Folder is hidden by default. The easiest way to get to it is by having finder the active application and while holding Option Click Go in the Mac Menu Bar. This will expose Library.

Thank You

Eric Ketchum
