nDisplay -> black Screen(s)

Hi!
I tried to use the new nDisplay. I packaged the Game with the listener and the config file and copied it to another PC. Then I startet a client on my master. When I click on “RUN” both screens are switching to black but I don’t see any game starting…

What am I doing wrong?link text

Nobody? I thinks it’s only a small problem. Something with the config ect? Help would be very appreciated…

hey! it happened to me, I did some comprobations that might be useful to you:

The config file needs to be working properly in the editor, so you need to be seeing the squares representing the monitors in a proper manner. If you don’t see that, you are probably doing something wrong with the config with that black screens as a result. The debug is not clear enough if you have an issue with the config.

Another possible cause is the need for selecting in the display cluster settings (within the editor, the actor blueprint that sets up cameras), an actual monitor that works in your computer… somehow, the examples are a bit messy with that, so you might be selecting a wrong output as the main display, so check that out.
I also succeeded better using 4.20 (4.21 was somewhat more glitchy)

i know your problem is .
change " addr=127.0.0.1" to your local ip address :slight_smile:

same problem here, “change " addr=127.0.0.1” to your local ip address" doesn’t help, I’ve been using the proper local ip from the get go
i made sure the camera pos is not buried in geometry, and the viewports are set correctly (even moved the playerstart into the air just to be extra sure), but all i see is blank black
the packaged level starts and runs just fine the normal way
I am on 4.22.3
