Keep strings on built game?

I don’t mind keeping strings working on cooked game, but I’m curious are there any downsides doing this?
I mean could players cheat/etc because of this enabled? If not would it be possible to make some commands that I would allow to use for normal player?

Someone could break your pak and crack open your executable to see what is in the strings, and potentially change them. Now, this is quite a bit of work - unless accessing or changing those strings could adversely affect your game (for instance if it has a in-game economy or pvp components that depend on it) then you should avoid otherwise I see no issues. If you are building an indie game like most of the people in this forum, I would not worry about it.
