How to use Ambient Occlusion with PostprocessingVolume in VR/ForwardRenderer???

Please help! We are using the Forward Renderer for a VR Project and we wanted to use AO. Unfortunately, the decals donot render correctly when AO is turned on. They dont show up on the right display of the HMD (Vive Pro), while they render correctly on the left eye.
Is AO supposed to work in VR or is there a workaround?
