Can Requirement to Display EULA be Waived for PS4?

Hi, can you please confirm whether the requirement to display a EULA that explicitly disclaims any representations, warranties, conditions, and liabilities related to the Unreal Engine can be waived for a game released on PS4?

I read the following in an old post:
“On the EULA, you’re right that it can get tricky on console. Most console games don’t display a EULA. I know that consoles can allow a EULA to display, but it’s not very common. You can also include a EULA in the in-game UI (like in an About window). But I think for console games we’re also willing to waive that requirement and rely on the general EULA that covers all games on the console.” EULA and licensing presentation for Xbox One/PS4 - Platform & Builds - Epic Developer Community Forums

Please confirm whether the above is correct and if so, is a waiver something we would specifically have to apply for?

Cheers,

Yes, you can rely on atypic’s answer in the other thread. No need to specifically apply for the waiver.
