UV map from Maya not working

Made this sword in Maya that I then imported into unreal. But when I import the UV map for the mesh the UV’s don’t line up.

I used the automatic UV unwrap tool in Maya. I got this to work before but then I edited the mesh and re-imported everything and nothing works now.

Hi, I think this is not really an unreal related question.
Have you checked your mesh /UV with a UV checker?
(It’s some time since I last made a 3d model ^^)
Inside Maya

  1. Freeze Transform (postion, rotation & sclae should be only zeros (0) and ones (1))
  2. Make sure you delete by type history.
