UE4 can't start cooking\packaging

I’ve been hitting my head against the wall for (8 hours) 6 DAYS NOW, trying to fix one, ONE problem, and so far did nothing to help it.

I tried to package my “game” created while watching official ue4 tutorials on youtube.
Project works fine in editor, and as standalone as well. No compiling errors at all.

I’m trying to package game, something really strange happens. UE4 does not creates package. I mean it.
UE4 says packaging, wait a second, beeps, and then says “Packaging complete” and stops.
When I’m going to look at packaged game, there is nothing. Completely clean folder.
And this is my problem. UE4 for some reason does not creates package at ALL, like it doesn’t even trying.

There is nothing about packaging in logs UE4 gives me, like it didn’t even tried to package anything.

Edit: Log says nothing about cooking\packaging, like it not even tried to.

I just don’t understand what to do now. It’s been (8 hours of banging against the wall) 6 DAYS of smashing my laptop with keyboard, and with no result.
And yes, I already packaged this “game” before, 2 times, and both was without that stupid…
Please, I’m really tired of this, help me.

Edit: Deleting and installing UE4 5 TIMES - no, it isn’t working.

Disabling my antivirus - no.

Creating new project and trying to package it - no.

Deleting and installing Visual Studio 2017 3 times - no.

Smashing my head against laptop - no, and I will not try it again.

Trying to package my project with same UE4 on usb flash BUT on different PC - yes, packaged successfully without single error, all files there.

Deleting all mentions about UE4 in register (windows 7) - no.

Changing UE4 packaging settings - obviously, no.

Please, I am REALLY need help, 6 days of searching, fixing and failing all over again.
I didn’t even found anything like this on forums, like it only for me in whole world.
Please, send help.

Please, any help? I don’t know what to do with it. I tried to create new clean project, but it also refuses to be packed. And I can’t find same problem on forums.

I’m sorry for the stupid question, but do you look in the same folder that you specify in packaging dialogue window? Can you package using project launcher? I also didn’t see anything about packaging in the log you provided.

update:
I deleted ALL files of UE4, moved all my project to another place, reinstalled fresh and clean version of UE4.21.2.
File->package project->windows->windows 64 - selected newly created folder.
Nothing. 1 second of thinking from ue4, beeping, and again, same “log”, same nothing in folder.
I will try one more time to change all settings one by one and look, maybe one of them will help.

First of all, thanks for at least responding to me.
Yes, I am looking at right direction, and not only that, but whole “packaging” takes only 1 second, with almost 3 gb of content, which means something wrong.

I didn’t knew about project launcher before you told me, quickly read what is it, opened it, created custom profile to package game to selected folder and pressed “launch this profile”. Well, I don’t know what it suppose to do, but it took, again, one second, sayd “done” and again, clean folder without single file.

About “log”, it is “Output log” that UE4 gives button for after “building”. At least UE4 says it is.

At this point I don’t know what to do anymore, I am gonna try and fully delete ue4, move all projects to another place, delete all settings possibly left after UE4, install it again into another folder, create new project and try again.
If nothing will help, I guess gonna reinstall windows it self.

update 2:
Yeah, log is actually does not shows anything about packaging, like it never even tried to run it.
At this point I don’t even know wtf is happening, I’ll try and download ue4 to another pc, test if clean version can package things, then export all settings and my project to that pc and see, if it changes something or not.
Obviously if it still will work, problem is in my laptop.

update 3: Got my hands on another PC.
That PC is 8 years old, i-5 2310, full of trash and owned my a moron to play web games.
I simply copy-pasted my UE4.21.2 with my project to usb flash drive and run through it.
I successfully packaged my “game” without any errors, tested it on my pc, everything fine with project. Something wrong with my laptop I guess.

Firstly gonna try 22.0 version, just came out, maybe it fixed up there. If not, gonna clean up ALL data about UE4 on my laptop, like all registry and etc.

After 24 of bull**** with installation of windows 7, I tried to package my project and…

YES IT FINALLY F***ING WORKS HOLY **** I Hate you UE4 for making me suffer for whole week, WEEK of trying to fix you.
Yes, I packaged game without any error, log finally shows packaging project.

Still don’t know wtf I had that problem, but at last it solved.

If you will get similar problem - good luck with finding anything about it on internet. Just straight up reinstall windows and forget about this crap.
