Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How do I rebind mouse navigation in the viewport?

So I am kinda new to game engines. I have some experiance with small stuff in the past but nothing worth mentioning here. For the most part I mostly just worked with blender. Other than those I am kinda fresh out of water here.

That being said I love the navigation tools here. . . but hate the bindings for them. I love how I can orbit around an object or look around a focal point (which is basically orbit around a focal point with a distance of 0). However, I don't like how look around is RMB but orbit is Alt+LMB?! Legit, why is it like that?! Why have rotation be one button one time then change it to a completely different button another?! Left or right, PICK ONE and be consistent please!


Here's how I want to change it:

  • I want Orbit to be RMB

  • Look around to be Alt+RMB

  • Hold Zoom to be MMB (like how it should be like when I scroll up or down)

  • Pan (default being middle mouse) to be LMB

  • That weird and dumb move camera on x and y axis (WHICH DOESN'T HAVE GOOD USE FOR PROJECTS THAT HAVE A BIG EMPHASIS ON 3D SPACE LIKE FLYING GAMES OR YOUR IN A SPACE SHIP SO AGAIN, STUPID) to be Alt+LMB.

Please tell me there is SOME way I can set this up, otherwise I'll be developing for unity instead cause right now, these mouse bindings are legit bad and I will not be putting up with this kind of bullshit nor will I try to "just get used to it" when I just flat out shouldn't have to cause, again, the way it is now, is kinda garbage.
