animation on skeleton held from hip instead of root bone
I can't get my animation to work correctly. I animated my player model using MAYA but when i import it into unreal it holds my model from the hip despite the model having a root bone at the top of the skeleton hierarchy. I made a animation called "Combat idle" where the character's hip swings side to side and his upper torso is titled forward a bit. but in unreal his hip stays in place while his feet swing side to side instead. i've tried "Enable rootmotion" with no luck. i'm not sure what's going on.
