Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Capsule trace initial overlap returns strange impact point sometimes

I've been doing tests with the built in "Capsule Trace" function. In the image below, the capsule shows the start of the trace and the red square shows the Impact Point. When starting the trace inside of the block, the impact point will sometimes show up on the corner of the block, which doesn't really make sense. And it's hard to tell exactly what triggers it. What could the problem be? Or how do I work around it?

(Note: I could never get this to happen when the trace ENDS inside of a block, only when beginning. Also, I could never get it to happen when using a sphere trace, only with capsule, but I could be wrong.) alt text
