Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Make my character interact with landscape

Hello everyone. I want to make the player character sculpt the landscape like when we remove the dirty/stone blocks in minecraft, but not with blocks. A good example is the way we sculpt in Zbrush: we can remove, move and put more mass or something. He also needs to remove the landscape to make caves, underground homes, and anything else that creativity allows. Anyways, i just want to know how can i make my character interact with the landscape. Thanks!

i completely agree. there is one little thing id like to add, it may actually be possible with a custom build of the engine. i remember a video a few years ago of someone who created a method which sculpted the terrain including making caves at runtime. my understanding of it though is that it was a custom built version of the engine and it was a exceedingly complex undertaking.

In the video the developer doesn't show how to make the system, so was not so helpfull.
