Will Cascade and PhysX continue to be supported in UE4?

I’m working with developers on a game that very tightly tied into Cascade and PhysX, but both of these systems are due to be deprecated after upgrading to UE4. Unfortunately the way the game is built we won’t be able to make use of Niagara and Chaos.

Will support for these systems still be in place with the newest update? And if so, for how long?

Devs have stated that Cascade will be supported for the forseable future while Chaos will enter early access (but not yet replace PhysX) with the 4.23 update coming in Q3. I’d venture to say that you can probably work with all of 2019’s updates before Chaos becomes the default physics system.
