TaskGraphHhreadHP Crash on Fortnite

After an hour of playing, the game crashes with no exeptions the logs are allways the same, tried a ton of things but nothing worked, formated my pc several times and verified / uninstalled - installed the game.

yes! i know perfectly but, isn’t that error related with unrealengine? i have tried almost everything (formated 3 times) but same crash happening, thanks btw !!!

Hi!
Hmm, these are the forums for the Unreal Engine (development), specifically, so I don’t know if you’re going to get Fortnite answers here. However, I can see it has something to do with an exception error… Try running the Fortnite .exe as administrator? (Right click, run as admin).

Ultimately you’ll want to post on the Fortnite forums specifically, unless you already have. =)

mm yes i’ve done all basics things when i reformated it like drivers optimizations and other stuff, i tried running it as administrator cause before wasn’t letting me, so i booted on safe mode and until now, 3rd match is still going with no crashes so, so far thanks a lot! i have an i7 1060 6gb 16gb ram and no performance / temp issues

No problem! It can be super frustrating. When things like this happen you generally don’t need to reformat, as the problem is specifically related to an application or the Windows environment, by the way, so if people have been telling you to reformat when this happens they’re going too far. It’s akin to saying that if you have a problem with your roof tiles you should tear down and rebuild the entire exterior of the house. Yes, it’ll work, but it’s going overboard.

Since you’re reformatting a lot, and I know this is kind of a basic question, have you re-installed sound and video drivers? Current and updated?

Since it happens after an hour or so it could be heat-related, too. Your GPU gets too hot, shuts itself down temporarily or throttles back performance too much, Fortnite crashes. Do a Google search for HWMonitor. Very simple little app that lets you check the heat on anything in your case, like your video card/cpu/hard drives. Check the safe operating temps of your CPU and video card, that’s another likely culprit.
