How to implement weighted object in VR for IK character
Since I got my Oculus Rift I've been looking at developing a game for VR and I have taken inspiration for my game from some parts of Blade & Sorcery or the unreleased Boneworks (video of Boneworks can be found athttps://www.youtube.com/user/Node). I am going to be making an IK character for VR so the player has a sense of their body being in the game and I wanted to know how I would implement the guns and swords that the player can hold while also giving a sense of weight to each object meaning that the player may need to move the arms further to get movement out of a heavy object compared to a lighter object.
