UE4.22 Blackmagic color space issue

I am using the Black magic Media Player plugin to bring live video into Unreal.
Under 4.21 it works fine but I had an issue with events in sequences not triggering after being duplicated so I am trying 4.22.
Under 4.22 the incoming video is washed out with incorrect levels.
To me it appears that the video is coming in as RGB even though the video capture format is set to YUV.
It works fine out of Unreal 4.22 in BMD Media express and it works fine in 4.21
I have tried multiple frame rates/ resolutions and bit depths with the same outcome.
Pictures attached of a screen grab from 4.21 and 4.22 for comparison.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

for me the SDI input is fine but i get your result on my output instead

I’m getting this error:

LogBlackmagicMedia: The color space have changed on the device ‘4’. Only YUV is supported.
LogBlackmagicMedia: VideoInputYCbCr422
LogBlackmagicMedia: Error: The video format changed for ‘blackmagicdesign://device4/single0’.

It was working fine with unreal 4.25, but now its not working in 4.25.3, is there an option to revert the engine to 4.25?

And does the second line mean that the currently recieving format is YCbCr422, if so then isn’t it the same as YUV?
