Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Engine.so: file not recognized: file format not recognized

Hi everyone !

As I am completely new to this tech, my question might seem trivial but I just don't know what to do. Here's what happens : I downloaded the Unreal Engine's master branch on git, than execute Setup.sh and GenerateProjectFile.sh from the main folder. Than I just try to execute the makefile and at some point the following error occures :

/home/pi-asd/UnrealEngine-release/Engine/Binaries/Linux/libUE4Editor-Engine.so: file not recognized: file format not recognized
clang++: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)
/home/pi-asd/UnrealEngine-release/Engine/Binaries/Linux/libUE4Editor-Engine.so: file not recognized: file format not recognized
clang++: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)
 Makefile:608 : la recette pour la cible « UE4Editor » a échouée
 make: *** [UE4Editor] Erreur 5

(the line in French means : "`Makefile:608 : failed for target "UE4Editor"`")

Thanks by advance for your help !
