Character movement controls behave weirdly

Something happened, I didn’t touch anything in the blueprints.
but now my character behaves weirdly. It runs fast and with breaks in one map level, and doesn’t run at all in the other map level even though I hold the “W” or “A,D” buttons all the time. The character jumps little heights, compared to what was in the beginning.
I don’t know where to go to fix this. My blueprints of the “input” are intact. Nothing that I changed there since this happened. Help!

You were right, I found another test map and my player was running correctly.
So, inputs are fine, not conflicting. The issue is with the maps, apparently.

But, now, I don’t know how I can fix the landscapes problem. The thing is that I added StylisedSky blueprints, and in the beginning everything was working fine in both maps, mine and theirs. I guess, I can go back to before the addition and try again.

What do you mean by controllers? If it’s mouse and keyboard. Oculus is turned off. No other controllers.

just to make sure it’s not an issue with the landscape probably place the character on something simple like a cube or plane and make sure the issue persists.

Perhaps the inputs are conflicting, trying to move left and right at the same time. check over the scale values of the inputs. or if you’re using action mappings make sure the keys aren’t mapped for both move right and move left actions.

maybe something you were working on didn’t get saved when you closed the program, so check over any recent settings you changed.

oh and if you have any other controllers plugged into you pc that are laying upside down the analog sticks may be pushed to the side and interfering with the keyboard input.

it was just an issue I had awhile back where I had a character that wouldn’t stop moving to the left. Took me way too long to notice that my xbox controller was just upside down laying on my bed. The weight of the controller pushing the thumb stick to the side.

when you say new map does that mean new level?
if so, I’m not quite sure if it is a landscape issue, maybe something is messed up with the gamemode defaults.

Yes, by map I mean level.

No, it’s not a controller issue.
I tried to play on the test level, and the player moves correctly to the inputs (WASD+jump)
