Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.

Office Holiday

Epic Games' offices will be on holiday from June 22nd to July 7th. During this period support will be limited. Our offices will reopen on Monday, July 8th. 

Crash when attempting a packaged build, 4.20.3. Help!

We are attempting to build our student project game for the final block project, and are getting consistent crashes when trying to package the build or even zip the project. Have never encountered this in our dev environment before. Unknown failure to cook errors are the biggest culprit. None of us are really programmers so having a hard time parsing the information from the error log. We have tried pretty much everything we can find on this problem from the forums, deleting saved/intermediate folders after fixing up all redirectors in folder in our Content Browswer , deleting the DerivedDataCache folder from the UE4 install location, double checking all blueprints to make sure they compile, making sure all assets/textures/materials used are under the character limit with naming conventions. sort of at a loss here and we only have a few weeks to go, so hoping that some kind soul will be able to help us out. Here is the error log we keep getting. We are using Perforce for source control, are running Windows 10, with 8GB Geforce RTX2070 cards, 64GB of memory.
