UnrealVS.vsix for VS2019 (UE 4.22)

UE 4.22 now supports VS 2019. However, \Epic Games\UE_4.22\Engine\Extras\UnrealVS only contains folders VS2015 and VS2017, and VS2017 will not install on VS2019.

Is this coming, or is it now obsolete?

Cheers,
Richard

Have you found out if this is obsolete or not with VS 2019? I’m fairly new to working in UE and VS, and don’t want to move forward within VS 2019 if it’ll cause problems.

UE-73010 says it is “Backlogged”. The “Target Fix” field says 4.23.

If you haven’t already, vote it up in the hope Epic prioritizes it. I’m on VS2019 and I cannot use it either (the killer feature for me is using it to easily change command line arguments).

The extension is not obsolete, it just hasn’t been made compatible with VS2019 yet. The source is available, so even if Epic didn’t decide to make it compatible with VS2019 someone else could submit a pull request.
