Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Assigning pre-made skeletal mesh and animations to playable character

This seems like it should be a simple thing but every tutorial I've found goes off on a tangent or gets into really specific areas like modifying bones, etc.

I've downloaded some of the characters from the marketplace that have all the meshes, textures, skeleton etc.

When I've imported one of them, I go into my character blueprint and assign the mesh, in this case SM_Countess. At this point, when playing, the character is idling and does an 'intro' animation so this says to me that the skeleton, etc is all associated okay.

My issue is that none of the walking animations appear to be linked by default. When moving around the character stays in their idle pose.

How do I link this character's other animations up so that they'll work?
