Assigning pre-made skeletal mesh and animations to playable character

This seems like it should be a simple thing but every tutorial I’ve found goes off on a tangent or gets into really specific areas like modifying bones, etc.

I’ve downloaded some of the characters from the marketplace that have all the meshes, textures, skeleton etc.

When I’ve imported one of them, I go into my character blueprint and assign the mesh, in this case SM_Countess. At this point, when playing, the character is idling and does an ‘intro’ animation so this says to me that the skeleton, etc is all associated okay.

My issue is that none of the walking animations appear to be linked by default. When moving around the character stays in their idle pose.

How do I link this character’s other animations up so that they’ll work?
