Hi. I can’t really move any objects and when I drag anything new in, it snaps to wherever UE4 decides it should be and I can’t move it. Also, this huge grey grid that is often flickering showed up around the time this problem started. How can I sort this out?

that big grey grid is a landscape by the looks of it.
are you using any kind of level streaming? are you perhaps in play or simulate mode? try pressing esc and see if that helps.
a video of the issue would also be helpful so we can see whats happening.
I mean the thick dark grey line. But either way, after stressing for almost 1 hour, I sorted it out. I figured out that my problem was the 10,000 you can see in the top right corner of the screen.
So, just in case anyone else is as dumb as me and accidentally increases that number and then freaks out because you can’t edit anything, just bring that number back down to like 10. Literally that simple. I feel so dumb now.
