I updated my amd crimson drivers recently and found that the UE4 editor no longer works (versions since at least 4.20). The editor opens but is unusably unresponsive with actions taking an indefinite amount of time to complete. Parts of the UI are not rendering correctly or at all. What is more this applies even to projects already packaged by the mentioned versions. The bug persists with drivers all the way down to the 2017 version and I cannot downgrade that far, as they have become incompatible with other parts of my system and are, anyway, extremely outdated. Therefore I am locked out of my project. Any help will be appreciated.
