Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

[Closed] SM Calibrator presence

Just wanted to report some weird issue I got. While trying to use the "End" key to snap my object to the ground, I observed that my object was not completely snapped to the ground, even if there was nothing between my object and the ground. So, I activated the PlayerCollision view and saw a strange pink block. Then I went to Visibility Collision and saw the SM_Calibrator (that I confirmed using the Collision Analyzer and trying to snap again my object against the ground). But that invisible object doesn't exist in my level! I deleted all actors as you can see on the screenshot but it still remained.

I have absolutely no idea how I've done that. Reloading the level removed the SM_Calibrator. I tried to reproduce but didn't succeed... Was just moving some cubes around for boxing and then I merge some of these cubes, that was all during that session. I tried to re-merge same cubes (the UE4 built-in cubes) again but it didn't make it appear.

Perhaps someone with the hands in the Engine may have an idea...

Have a nice day!
