Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

displaced landscape tears / seams

i have this landscape material and when i use tessellation / displacement i can see tears / seams on the landscape as shown in the following video: https://youtu.be/D7N1YbHytbA

i tried having constant as tessellation multiplier instead of a parameter, tried various displacement textures, also tried that crack free displacement option that doesnt seem to work (does not tessellate the landscape properly or something is wrong with the coordinates, but also produces huge tears / seams)

can anyone help?

Definitely its a material-> tesellation problem. Can you provide any source material to recreate the artifact? (Such as textures and most important the material settings)

ok i will try to replicate the problem with simple materials and textures and upload them

ok here you go,

i created a new scene as simple as it gets, and the problem is still there. its not as exaggerated but its still there. when you open the scene, dont move the view, the tear is just in front of you. (selecting the landscape makes tears more visible because of the yellow outline)
