Rect Light Source Texture not showing up in 4

Hi!

In UE4.21 (on macOS 10.13.6), this rect light used to show up like this :

But in 4.22, it shows up like this :

The texture doesn’t appear on specular reflexion!

I’ve tried to :

  • Change Source Texture to another texture

  • Use a Light Function Material instead

  • Start over a new level and put a new Rect Light

No textures at all seems to work. I’d like to know if this will get fixed by updating my OS before updating it. Anybody had that problem?

I’ve upgraded to macOS 10.14.5 : still no textures in rect lights!

Hello, did you solve this? I’m using UE4.27 and area lights don’t seem affected by the Source Texture. I’m doing the following:

"Use an HDR image if possible, to avoid banding artifacts. In addition, make sure that the Level of Detail > Mip Gen Settings option for your Texture is set to Blur5 ".

Did anyone solve this? I have the same problem in UE5.1.
