Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Would a modified static render require royalties if it is used in a different game engine?

So I found this link talking about a rendered video : https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/753593/view.html

But I was hoping to get clarification on using a static image that would be rendered out, modified and then used in a different engine. Would this invoke the royalty fees?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Based on your description, the static image you are describing would be considered an "Unrestricted Product" under the EULA.

There is no restriction on your Distribution of a Product made using the Licensed Technology that does not include any Engine Code or any Paid Content Distributed in uncooked source format (in each case, including as modified by you under the License) and does not require any Licensed Technology (including as modified by you under the License) to run (“Unrestricted Products”).
