How do you properly create blended materials for landscapes?
I've been trying to create a blended material. I have an example of one and created my material with different textures the same way my example was done but I just get a black, glossy texture as a result. Any suggestions to whats going on would be greatly appreciated.

You have to paint the layers on the landscape in the landscape mode so that it knows what material is where. Also in the "Layer Blend" node there is a preview property. You can set those values to have a preview of the material without it being applied to a landscape.
