Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Saving Translucent materials causes crash with (Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG')

I've been working on a material from a youtube tutorial ( https://youtu.be/FMVCVH7zuGI ) since yesterday, but each time I try to save the material after setting the Blend Mode to Translucent and the Lighting Mode to Surface Translucency Volume, Unreal will crash, giving me the "Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG')" Error. I tested this with various variations of the same Material, in both 4.21 and 4.22 versions of the engine, on two different projects each. I've also turned off Battery Boost from the Nvidia GeForce Experience as suggested in older threads, I've updated my Nvidia drivers, and the problem remains. I'm using a Asus ROG GL553VE model with Windows 10 Home, an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz processor, with an Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 internal graphics card along with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti card. If there is any sort of solution, I'd appreciate it a lot
