Volume Level Streaming

Hi all,

so I have a question. I want to build large map, in the size of GTA V maybe with similar concept, skyscrapers, houses, etc. I want to ask, is it better to have a lot of really small levels for level streaming (example every building in it’s
own level), a couple of big ones(maybe 8 I don’t know), or somewhere in between( for every 5-10 buildings one level).
Also, is volume level streaming the best way to go, or is there something like a shortcut, I know C++ so I’m not really only into BPs, although I’m beginner in UE4. Thanks.
