I do a lot of work for a company that provides several restaurant prototype Revit models, which I then take and modify to be site specific. Each prototype Revit model contains links to several other Revit models such as furniture, site, etc. I would like to link these Revit prototype models into Twinmotion, but when I click “See in Twinmotion” on the Twinmotion tab in Revit, it shows an error “No data to Export”. If I copy and paste smaller components of my Revit model such as individual walls into a new Revit model, the “See in Twinmotion” button opens the model in Twinmotion just fine. I am also able to use the “See in Twinmotion” button successfully for Revit models of other unrelated projects.
Unfortunately, it’s not really an option for me to copy and paste the entire prototype models into a new Revit file, because I would lose too much valuable information in the original Revit model and these projects move too fast to allow the extra time that would take.
Any ideas?
