Who owns the rights of the content produced in Twinmotion?

Hello,

I just read the Twinmotion end user license agreement and I have one simple follow-up question. Reading section 5 of this agreement regarding the Ownership, I’m slightly confused by the explanation provided.

My question is: by using your software, do I automatically grant you ownership of the content produced via Twinmotion? If so, it becomes a problem for me.

The first part of section 5 seems to indicate the opposite: “Your use of the Software does not grant to Licensor any right, title, or interest in any of the content that you produce using the Software or any of the content that you import into the Software.”.

The second part of section 5 is rather confusing though: “Licensor and its licensors own all title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in the Software. The Twinmotion mark is a registered trademark of Licensor. All rights granted to you under this Agreement are granted by express license only and not by sale. No license or other rights shall be created hereunder by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.”

I need to keep ownership of everything I will produce and update using Twinmotion. Can you please provide more information on this?

Thank you.

Best regards,
Moussa Gherbi

You own the content you produce in Twinmotion. Epic owns the rights to Twinmotion itself, and you are granted rights in TwinMotion as expressly provided in the EULA.
