Substance plugin for ue4

Hello, I am really curious about Substance for Unreal Engine 4.
I have Unreal Engine 4.4 and it looks like I can get the Substance
plugin allowing me a lot more freedom with textures but I have not used
This yet and it looks like a sample of the full Substance database. I imagine
10 something sample textures we can apply to objects in our scene.
Then add and subtract texture properties as far as substance will go.
I am curious about two things:
Can we combine Substance textures to make other designs or are we limited to just
Manipulating one Substance texture?
Is Substance still being worked on so more functionality will come at a later date?

Hi NLEGITN,

Yes, you will be able to combine textures and add your own. Substance is still technically in beta so yes, it is still being worked on and they plan to continue to add updates after launch.

Please visit the Allegorithmic Forums for more detailed info.

Where do I unzip it? It said to unzip it to your project folder but I am not sure how to install it. Where do I put it so I can use it?

Very soon Allegorithmic plans to release Substance as a full plugin that is easily merged into the UE4. At the moment though, you will need to compile substance with the engine source code. Take a look at the link below for more info on how to do this.
