Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hey there, I've done some searching on the subject. Seems like there is a problem with your DirectX. Try running the installer again and update/repair or reinstall all together. Some people experienced this due to graphic's drivers not being up to date, you might want to update them.

When did this start? Was the engine running fine before you did something?

Hi, I solved the problem by changing the laptop to sport/turbo mode.

HI, thanks for the answer. It all started after not using ue4 for a while. I thought it was a driver issue but I have updated everything, UE4 has been removed and re installed again as well. Somehow the problem is fixed for a couple of hours only when I re-install the program. I don't think it is a spec issue as my laptop is quite new: MSI Leopard 16gb ram, Gtx 1060 gddr5... Do let me know if you find the solution, I'll try installing windows all over again... Cheers
