Hi, I am actually a beginner and I wanted to create a multiplayer game so here is my problem: the game actually works with local (using Hamachi or the address 127.0.0.1 for example) but my friend couldn’t join me using my (public) IP address did I do something wrong?
Not sure.
Try a few things:
Try checking the Use LAN checkbox on Create Session. (I know it’s not LAN, but Hamachi is a VPN which simulates LAN over remote connections)
Try Running two Standalone instances of the game and joining one to the other on your own computer. If that doesn’t work, then it’s not Hamachi’s fault, and something else is wrong.
If it DOES work, then maybe something is wrong with how you set up the Hamachi stuff.
