trouble exporting textures from blender to UE4

Im new to unreal engine, im using the software to put together an interactive scene in which i can just walk around and admire models that ive made.
Im having trouble exporting textures from blender to unreal engine.
I have modelled and textured a post in blender. using masks and nodes so i can have multiple textures and maps on a single model under a single material. in blender everything looks great.

everything else about my model is working perfectly, collisions and no artifacts in the model. But once i import my model into UE4 i notice that both my model and material have been added to the content browser.
however my lovely red glossy painted wood, and corroded steel material is completely white. no normal maps, no image texture, nothing at all.

I must admit I’m a total novice at this point and its most likely something simple that im missing as per usual.
i have tied looking for solutions on youtube but all i can seem to find are videos of people adding 2 or 3 basic colours to a cube, as seperate materials with no extra detail such as normals or anything.
but can anybody give me some help with this. is there a step that im missing in the exporting of my model?
how can i export my texture as seen in the preview window, into unreal engine. Also is there a way i can potentially bake my masked materials/mixed shaders together? as to get rid of the mixed shader entierly.
