Hi,
I have 2 computers(Tower,Laptop), the same project open each open in UE4.22.
Play-Settings: Mode ->New Editor Window (PIE); Number of Player = 2; Dedicated Server.
I have created a multiplayer template project to create and find sessions.
I have tested many settings and have seen in the log data that the session is always created,
but never found a session. I have now rebuilt some simple tutorials the last days but it never worked.
Next logic step was to copy the project to the tower-pc and bam! it works, great. But still not working
on the laptop. Windows 10 is installed on both computers. Tower with Avira AntiVir und laptop with Kaspersky.
Since I’ve seen it working on the tower, I think Kaspersky blocks something. If I run the project on both PCs, then the laptop will find the session from the tower. According to Kaspersky’s settings, UE4 is not restricted.
VS2017 and ue4 module is installed on both computer.I also tried Advanced Sessions.
Two weeks ago, I changed from 4.18 to 4.22 and have now also installed 4.22 for testing on the tower.
Same problem with the laptop.
Could the network restriction of Kaspersky cause I can not find the session I created on the same device?
Any idea what you could do?
