Reflection probes only render in one eye on mixed reality headset

We have an experience which we have been building using the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. We recently tried to run it on 2 different headsets both running the Windows Mixed Reality SDK. It ran, but we had some rendering issues with reflection probes on both. Specifically, it seemed that if we used more than 5 reflections probes, they would only render correctly in one eye. Our experience is quite a large environment and requires significantly more. What could be causing this?
