Lock rotation to local spline axis
Hello everyone !
I'm currently working on a small trial game, similar to what Ubisoft does with the Trials serie, and I've got almost everything working (still need a bit of work on the leaning phase, but for the rest it's fine). For the moment, I'm locking my bike, wich is fully simulated, to be able to rotate only on Y axis (locked on XZ planes). My question is, how could I lock the axes to be locked alongside XZ plane from a spline ? To be clear, my bike has no steering, and I want the spline to be the steering. I've seen method to follow a spline at a certain rate, or make it advance when you press a key, but they all have problem with meshes going through walls etc, and are not fully simulated...
So, if anyone has any idea, I'd gladly hear it :)
