Editor Widget, how to access mesh / actor thumbnails?
Hey folks. I'm making an editor widget, and I was hoping to be able to create a preview of meshes or actors much like we see in the content browser. However there doesn't seem to be a way to use these thumbnails that the engine uses. Seems like a missed opportunity seeing as the whole point of the editor widget is to save time.
It's not the end of the world, a simple delete and try the next one :)

Inside the widget BP, you can add an Image
That image can be assigned a texture
The texture can be anything you want - even if it's just a screenshot of the other meshes, etc that you want to show
I would take screenshots of all the things you want to preview, and then assign them to an image ( or images ) inside the widget
