Cloth ignores everything, except an invisible sphere

Hello, I’m trying to set up a cloth simulation for a character I created in Blender and exported in .fbx , but the cloth ignores all the collision capsules I’ve set up in the physics assets and just collides with an invisible sphere ( I think ) when I set the collision thickness to something like 130 or more. I noticed that the collision capsule do influence to a certain extent the cloth, but it just falls through ( if I move a capsule when the thickness is over 100, the cloth moves a bit ).
I tried replacing the actual dress with a plane just to get an idea of where the collisions where happening, results in the picture.
Any ideas? I’ve checked the scale of the model on Blender and everything is 1.1.1. so I’m getting pretty confused.
