Light bug.

Hello there! I have a weird problem with the light in my level(Watch pictures).
How can i fix that? I have changed the UV Light map resolution to 512 and that didn’t work, also changing the Light map index doesn’t work, this problem is occurring with a light source and Emissive Color, I’ve made those models in blender and UV Unwrapped everything.

As you can see, it’s not smooth  Any guess?

Hi!

Do you mean the lighting differences between the modular pieces? :S

Yes, between the modular peices.

Unreal builds light per mesh! So there will be shading differences if your ligtmass settings are low/default!
You can go with 0.1-0.15 with indirect lighting scale and 0.6 with smoothness and those will disappear! /basically you set Unreal to calculate lighting at 1mm accuracy and you “disable” bluring too much things out…
BUT! With these setting usually you’ll discover “dirty” shadows and will need to go higher with the quality too, which will raise your building time!
