Why is static lighting brighter on mobile?

I’ve seen this question asked many times and unfortunately I have yet to find the correct answer.

I have a simple test scene with a couple of rocks, a ground plane and some spiders. The only lighting in the scene is 2 static point lights. I have turned off all post effects in hope that running this on a PC will look the same as running it on a Android device.

As can be seen from the screen captures, the mobile version is a lot brighter than the desktop version?

If it makes a difference, I’m targeting VR so I’m using forward rendering.

Can anyone tell me why the mobile version is a lot brighter?

Did you ever find a solution to this? I ended up using manual auto exposure and doing it half-way. Also since VR is brighter than desktop, managing desktop+VR+mobile is hell for lighting.
