questions about the landscape terrain project with world machine

I was looking at the landscape of the landscape terrain project. I was wondering if someone could explain to me what they did in world machine? All of the textures on the landscape were they just painted on in unreal? In the landscape editor? Or was it imported with textures or some sort of map in world machine? I was just trying to figure out how they went about creating it.

A lot of this information was covered on last weeks twitch stream when we released the Landscape Demo. The link here will take you to the point in the twitch stream where it’s being discussed and shown off. Ryan Brucks does a good job of explaining what’s going on with the materials and how everything was made. There are some differences in how this material is made vs how it’s made with the current version of the engine.

Some users on the forums have been discussing this as well along with demonstrations.
