when ever i go to play this war of mine on start up it goes to a black screen with audio then crashes and boots up the epic games launcher as if nothing happened
Similar problem: Blank screen and hangs on start. I tried multiple times, and nothing. Tried rebooting - no improvement. Turned off my firewall - no improvement. Uninstalled, reinstalled - still hangs. (The Remains of Edith Finch loads, so I know it’s not my Unreal Launcher)
Thanks for wasting an hour of my limited free time. Glad this game was free or I’d be really upset.
If the Launcher is disappearing when you start the game, and then re-appearing again after the game has crashed, then it is operating as it should. It’s the game that is causing this. You’ll get better feedback from the developers, 11 Bit Studios. They don’t have their own support forums though, as far as I can tell, so try this:
